Negbalee Warner, Senior Advisor

Negbalee Warner is a transparency and anti-corruption expert based in Liberia. From 2007 to 2010 he was the Head of Secretariat for the Liberia Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative and from 2003 to 2005 he was Executive Director at the Central Bank of Liberia. Negbalee also led the drafting of Liberia’s National Anti-Corruption Policy and Strategy, as well as the Act establishing Liberia’s Anti-Corruption Commission.

Since joining the Liberia National Bar in 2000, he has worked in senior positions for several law firms in the country, including Heritage Partners and Associates, where he is currently Senior Partner. He also serves as Dean of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law at the University of Liberia in Monrovia and sits on the boards of several civil society organisations, including the Liberian chapter of Transparency International. He holds an LLM from Cornell Law School in New York.
