Launch of The SustainAbility Institute by ERM

Critical Resource and ERM are excited to announce the launch of The SustainAbility Institute by ERM, and invite you to join us in a conversation with sustainability leaders and experts. The Institute will define, accelerate and scale sustainability performance, delivering actionable insight that will decode complexities and spark conversation.

The launch event will focus on business resilience and how to increase it to create the greatest chance of success for the sustainable development agenda now through 2030. Keryn James, ERM’s Group Chief Executive, will host the session with our new Head of the Institute, Mark Lee. They will be joined by highly respected executives from our clients and partners for a panel discussion, after which we invite all audience members to participate in an online collaboration forum, hosted on our behalf by GlobeScan.

The UN has described 2020-2030 as a critical decade of action for addressing planetary challenges. There is much to do, and business must help lead the pursuit of sustainable solutions. For the past 50 years, ERM has been helping create a sustainable future with the world’s leading organizations. In 2019, ERM acquired leading consultancy SustainAbility for its cutting-edge think-tank, corporate member networks and respected advisory services, which we believed would further strengthen ERM’s ability to create value for our clients, partners and society. Now, by establishing this new thought leadership platform, we aim to better help meet the sustainability demands of our time.

The Institute’s work will encompass research and insights, corporate member networks, and stakeholder convening. It will focus outputs on three market drivers: Low Carbon Economy Transition (LCET), Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG)/Sustainable Finance, and Business Resilience.

We are very excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it will create. Along with our exciting line-up of speakers, we hope you will join us for one of two sessions on October 14 to hear more about the Institute and what it’s setting out to achieve.
